Meet The Team

After completing his PhD, Simon joined the Trading team as our CDO. Based in London, Simon manages the team made up of data scientists and commodity analysts in London, New York and Singapore.

Julia is based in our Bermuda office after senior roles at Peak Re (CUO), Renaissance Re, and PartnerRe. She has an MBA from Wharton and is responsible for Risk Capital & Portfolio in the Trading Team. She also has the best office view in the entire company!

Previously an MD of Nasdaq and several Chicago based commodity funds including Belvedere, Infinium and Allston. John runs our Delta hedging function in the Trading Team in Chicago. We’re thrilled to have him on the team.

Connor joined Stable from Charles Schwab where he was a Director of Trading Product after having previously traded agricultural commodities at Infinium and Geneva Trading.  Based in Austin, Connor leads our rapidly growing Product team brilliantly.

Previously a Director of Cargill Risk Management, Chris now leads our US sales team, which stretches across the protein, dairy, specialty grains, and energy teams. Based in Austin, he’s at the heart of our current work to rollout Stable across the US.

Louise was responsible for commodity derivative sales at Rabobank for over 20 years before joining Stable. She has an MBA from INSEAD, speaks 3 languages and helps clients across the Americas to manage their commodity risk. We haven’t found anything she can’t do yet!

After a stellar career at Cargill & Atlantic, Tony joined our team in Minneapolis to focus on protein, eggs and poultry.

Tony is at the heart of our rapid growth and unmatched when it comes to rapidly eating chicken wings.

One of the leading experts in the global dairy markets, Joe is based in NYC and joined Stable after senior roles at Starbucks, Rabobank & RJO Futures. At the head of one of our biggest markets, Joe is the man to call if you have price risk in the dairy sector.

Victor leads our R&D team after securing a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Oxford University and worked on the Quant team at CME. Victor is a key member of the Trading team and its leading edge hedging strategies.

Julie leads Stable’s work in sustainability and how price risk management can help the income of people and businesses in developing countries. She’s also studying for a PhD from the University of London (SOAS) and manages the Stable Charitable Foundation.

With a MSc in Computational Finance from Oxford University, Rachel is a super star in our Trading team. Based in London she runs our data science team, supporting Simon with many aspects of the algorithms.

Previously at S& P Global and ED&F Man, Joe leads our research team looking at fundamental data, index grading and content creation. With a specialism in opaque markets, Joe is at the heart of our ability to operate in untraded markets globally.

Ethan is based in Singapore and works on the trading team. He has a degree from LSE and a MSc in Quantitative Finance from the University of Singapore. Ethan is a key part of the pricing and data team.

Taylor joined Stable from McDonalds where he managed their financial risk across multiple commodities. He has a degree in Finance from Marquette and helps our corporate clients make the most of the Stable solution from our Chicago office.

With an MA in International Business from Edinburgh, Harry is well placed to manage our international partners and the indexes, data and content. Harry is a key part of the research team and is friends with most people working at the USDA!
